Paul explains in Galatians what it truly means to live and walk by the Spirit, offering a clear picture of the kind of life Christians are called to lead. Galatians 5:22–23 says, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your conversations be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to respond to every person.”

Am I a doer or a hearer? Am I reading the Bible to “check my box” for the day, or am I reading to see what God has for me to do?
